Q. How can I initiate a return ?

It’s simpler than you think. Here’s how:

• Go to ‘My orders’ and select the item(s) you want to return.
• Click on the ‘Return’ option below the item.
• Select your reason for returning the item and confirm your return request.
• You can also initiate a return by emailing us at service@kalnirnay.com or by calling us on +91-22-24130885 between (Mon – Fri, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm). You will have to share your order number with us, along with the reason for returning the product.

Q. In which cases can I return the products?

Return Policy makes it possible for you to return a product when:

• You have received a damaged product: a product can get damaged in transit and while we do ensure best possible quality controls, sometimes a damaged product might go unnoticed.
• Mismatched product delivered, in terms of style, colour and / or size.
• Missing Products: If the package delivered is missing one or more products you ordered.

Q. What is the time-period within which I can return a product?

You will be required to initiate the return within 48 hours of receiving the product. You will receive a confirmation email once the return shipment is received by us. We can’t accept return requests after that.

Q. What is the time-period for the product delivery?

Local deliveries should take between 3 and 5 days, Maharashtra deliveries should take between 6 to 7 days, and deliveries outside Maharashtra but within India should take between 8 and 10 days. International orders placed through our website are dispatched by India Post using registered shipping. As India Post does not provide delivery times, we cannot provide them to you.

Q. How should I pack my product for the return?

• We will appreciate it if the products are returned to us in the original packaging to minimize any further damage on return shipments. If you are not sure how to pack the product in order to return it, please speak to our customer care representative who will be happy to guide you.
• Remember, we can’t refund or exchange products if their invoice, tags/labels or seals have been tampered with – so be extra careful. Also, don’t forget to retain a proof of the postage.

Q. When can i get my Janma Patrika(soft copy) order?

• You can expect your Janma Patrika(soft copy) within 7 days from the date of the order placed.

Q. Can I get a replacement for the product I’ve ordered?

Yes absolutely. Once we receive the returned products, we will inspect to see if it fits the conditions of our return policy, we will either send you a replacement or issue you a refund for the same.

Q. What are self-courier returns?

We do not provide a pick-up facility, thus we’ll have to request you to courier the package yourself.
But we will not reimburse you the courier charges incurred while returning the product.

Q. Can I return a part of my order?

You should know that we can’t accept returns of incomplete product combos or sets (Example: Combos, “Buy one get one free”, free gifts, etc.). Products in sets cannot be returned individually.

Q. When I’m returning a product, do I have to return the free gift that I got with it as well?

Any freebies that you got with a product will also need to be returned along with the original product.

Q. The free gift I’ve received is damaged. What should I do?

We’ll make it up to you. All you have to do is get in touch with us and we’ll send you another gift right away.

Q. When are refunds possible on product order?

As long as you initiate return within the stipulated time period, your refund is good to go.
Your refund will be on its way as soon as we’ve received your product and it has passed the necessary quality checks.

Q. Do I get a refund on Kalnirnay Premium services order?

If you have received your premium service report within 7 working days from the date of your order, no refund can be initiated with respect to it. There is also no refund possible if you’re not satisfied with the report.

Q. What is the mode of payment for refunds?

We will refund the amount to the account you used to place the original order. We work hard to make this happen quickly. Once an order has been received and it has passes the necessary quality checks, we try and get the refund to you in around 7 business days. Your refund will be in the form of Wire Transfer (NEFT) to your bank account in around 7 business days. No refunds will be made in cash.

Q. Can I change the mode of payment for my refund?

You can’t change the mode of payment for your refund. The amount will be transferred to the account that you used to make your order. If the transaction fails, we’ll get in touch with you for your alternate bank account details. Once we get those, we’ll make sure that the transfer is completed successfully.

Q. I still haven’t got my refund. Why?

If we’ve sent you a confirmation on the approval of your refund, you will definitely get your refund. Sometimes, we face technical difficulties that can delay payment transfers. If the wait seems too long, contact us for support.

Terms & Conditions

In order to return any product sold through the Website, You are required to comply with the below mentioned conditions:

  1. Please note that the products might look different from the ones you see on the website. The return has to be in compliance with the Return Policy associated with the product.
  2. Sumangal Press Pvt. Ltd should be notified of the receipt of a damaged or defective product or if the product is significantly different from what was purchased or the package delivered is missing one or more products, within 48 hours of receipt of the order.
  3. Products should be returned unused, in their original packaging along with the original invoice, packing, freebies and original boxes. If any product is returned without these mentioned essentials, the product shall not be accepted for return and shall be sent back to you.
  4. The return packages should be strongly and adequately packaged so that there is no damage of products during transit. If the products are used, damaged, soiled or altered, the return won’t be processed and the items will be sent back to you. Please do not accept the package in damaged or soiled condition.
  5. The returned products are subject to verification and quality checks by Sumangal Press Pvt. Ltd’s quality assurance team in order to determine the legitimacy of the complaint or return.
  6. The final decision whether a returned item will be approved or rejected lies solely and completely with Sumangal Press Pvt. Ltd’s quality assurance team.
  7. You should fill the Return Form provided on the website www.kalnirnay.com mentioning your order no. and the product code mentioned on your invoice. Return requests are not processed if the Return Form is incomplete or absent in the returned package received. The reason for return should be stated in the Return form.
  8. The final decision on whether a returned item will be approved or rejected lies solely and completely with Sumangal Press Pvt. Ltd’s quality assurance team.
