Onam

Normally comes   -  August - September

Cause  -  Harvest Festival

Onam falls in August - September on dwadashi of Bhadrapad. Onam is the most farmers festival in Kerala. It is celebrated with great spirit irrespective of caste or creed. The women mostly wear off- white saree made of cotton with 'zari' in the centre. Men wear 'lungis' with zari.
