Tseschu Festival
This festival is celebrated to mark the birth of 'Padmalam bhava' (founder of Lamaism). This festival is a 3 day event, On first day villagers dress in their finery and rush to 'Gompa' (bhoodhist monastery) to grab the best teats. A shrill burgle declares the commencement of the play. A group of pre-lamaism priest enter to the wailing note struck by gongs and shawms The whole day marks the local plays ached by local persons. On next day the ceremony of stabbing the enemy with the mythic dagger called 'phurbu' takes place.
