Clean and wash prawns. Marinate it with salt. Heat oil in a pan. Add 1/2 chopped onion and sauté till it turns transparent. Add marinated prawns and sauté. Add two cups of water in it and bring to a boil. Meanwhile make paste of coconut, red chilli powder, haldi powder, tamarind pulp, ginger, green chillies, 1/2 onion with some water. Add this paste with salt in the pan, stir well. Boil it till the prawns are done. While serving garnish with coriander leaves. |
